Syllabus

What you will learn

This course covers the whole bridal look: makeup, hair, draping and jewellery. You learn Odia and HD bridal makeup, bridal buns and braids, dupatta setting and how to plan a wedding morning. You practise on classmates and live models in our Madhusudan Nagar studio and finish with a portfolio shoot.

- Prepping a bride's skin in the days before and on the morning
- Choosing a base that looks fine in close-up photos and video
- Matching base to the face, neck and arms so the colour stays even
- Covering dark circles and pigmentation without a heavy, cakey look
- Setting the base for long, hot wedding days
- The traditional Odia bridal look: red and gold, bold eyes, bindi and chandan design
- Bridal eye makeup that matches the saree colour and jewellery
- Winged liner, kajal and lash setting for long ceremonies

The trainer shows the day's bridal step on a model, explaining each product and tool

You practise the same step on a classmate, with the trainer checking your work as you go

On model days, you do a full bridal look on a live model, with hair, draping and jewellery

The trainer gives you feedback on the finished look and shows what to fix

You photograph your work in good light for your portfolio

You clean your brushes, tools and station before you leave
