What you will learn

This short course teaches the hairstyles people ask for most: a smooth blow-dry, soft curls, waves, braids and simple buns. You learn on real hair from the first day, in a small batch, with the trainer watching your hands. By the end you can do a clean party hairstyle on a friend or family member.

- Reading hair type: straight, wavy, curly, thick and fine
- Combs, brushes and clips, and what each one is for
- Dryer, straightener and curling tong: parts and settings
- Sectioning hair cleanly before any style
- Using heat protection before tools touch the hair

You clean your tools, put away clips and pins, and tidy your station.
