Syllabus

What you will learn

This short course starts with skin types: oily, dry, normal, combination and sensitive. Then you learn a clean-up and a basic facial in the right order, with clean tools every time. You practise each step on a model in class, with the trainer watching.

    • Oily, dry, normal, combination and sensitive skin: how each looks and feels
    • Simple questions to ask a client before you touch her skin
    • Spotting what you should not treat, and when to tell a client to see a doctor
    • Writing a short client card: skin type, concerns, products used
